Jane’s cousin Charlotte joined us for a few days in Fredericksburg- quite a big adventure for a three year old. I was skeptical that she would become homesick, but the little lady proved me wrong and the trip was a great success all around.
Jane seemed tickled to have company, especially in the backseat of the car where she trumpeted her raspberries out with added gusto. For her part Charlotte was a terrific helper, from feedings to diaper changes, she earned her sweet treats and a little nap. Come back soon!
We kicked Spring Break 2012 off with Mass and a trip to Maryland for Easter dinner with the family.
Silly cousins!
Nana joined us back at home for the rest of the week and we had lots of fun, especially our little overnight trip to Colonial Williamsburg.
How many bags does it take to stay one night?
Hoodie fever.
Jane counting sheep.
Getting cozy with the livestock.
Colonial couture.
Miraculously, a photo of Ms. Jane without her pacie.
Happy Easter!
Our very special friends from Raleigh spent the evening with us as they were passing through town. Little Jane decided just before 10pm that she’d not spent enough time with Betsy and Bob and needed to be freed from her crib immediately. That, or she didn’t want to miss Bob’s Holy Land slideshow. Regardless, she was quick to display her gratitude with snuggles all around.
